Any object used, created, or touched by man immediately becomes artifact, forever transformed by this interaction. The transformation can be physical or conceptual, the artifact becomes found, and thus reimagined differently. A recovered object exposed to air and light will degrade rapidly, or slowly devitrify, degenerating into a different state, as it becomes artifact. The details of artifacts become ways to reconstruct a past and outline the reimagined shape of a mind. I make artifacts.
